Remove /ad

I know that there are already loads of forum threads saying this but please do it. /ad doesn't really reduce spam that much. And lobby spam isn't really an issue. Almost nobody talks/stays in a minehut lobby for more than 30 seconds unless they are finding a server or advertising. It is so hard to find good servers to join as there are so few people talking about servers. Getting players for your server is next to impossible as you can only advertise once every 8 minutes. We either need to remove /ad or make the cooldown at most 60 seconds.

You say that /ad doesn't reduce spam but then say make the cooldown to 60 seconds. That just makes it even more spam and doesn't give ranks any incentives, since the lower ad cooldown is what people get ranks for the most. And /ad does reduce a lot of spam. If it wasn't a thing, there would be way more spam and advertisement than now since there is no set cooldown for it and it can't be moderated as well.

I do agree that even with /ad, there is still a lot of spam, no conversations, and hard to find good servers. But they are currently looking into new server discovery ideas on the Minehut Meta Discord and there have been a lot of good ideas that could move away from /ad and reduce lobby spam.

If you want to look for more conversations instead of advertisement spam I would recommend joining the Minehut discord or continue chatting on the forums. The forums are growing everyday and I love to see the activity!
