Minehut won't let me join my server or my friends.

It says that the servers are up, but when i click join (from the multiplayer screen in the main menu) it sends me to the lobby, and then in the lobby i do /join (server name) then it says thats its sending me to it then it doesn't and i just wait there for 30 minutes nothing happens, what is this, how do i fix it?
