Is it possible to host a server on old versions? specifically old beta 1.7.3

me and some of my friends want to play minecraft beta and would like to know if its possible to host one. A response would be much appreciated.

Hey! Unfortunately, the earliest version that you can play on Minehut servers with is 1.8

To do this, you can use the plugin "viabackwards" and "viarewind"

They require a dependency, "ViaVersion"

Hey! Unfortunately you are unable to play Minecraft beta on your Minehut server. You can however play on versions 1.8 through 1.15.2 if you install the plugin ProtocolSupport or the via plugins that Nic mentioned above. I hope this helps! If you have any more questions, please let me know.
