Custom Discord Domain

So, I've seen some Discord servers with domains like "discord.customdomain.com" and I was wondering how I can do it myself. I already owned a domain and use Cloudflare.

If you want your domain to re-direct you to the server's invitation link, do the following:

-> Go to Cloudflare dashboard and navigate to DNS tab.
-> Make a new record with Type as A, Name as discord, iPv4 as 1.1.1.1 and keep it Proxied.
-> Now navigate to Rules tab and create a new page rule.
    • Type *discord.customdomain.com/ in the first field, of-course replace customdomain.com with your domain's respective name. (Keep in mind, the * isn't a typo)
    • Select Forwarding URL as the setting and set the status code to be 301 - Permanent Redirect.
    • Finally, set your Destination URL as Discord server's invitation link.
    • Click Save and Deploy.

Now whenever someone visits discord.customdomain.com, they will be redirected to the invitation link.

Basically your server requires a looot of boosts to unlock the custom url feature

Don't think that is what they are talking about. Vanity urls are things such as discord.gg/minehut. They own a domain and want discord.domain.com to redirect to their discord. 

 

You could setup a webpage that automatically redirects to your discord and set that webpage to discord.domain.com. There may be an easier way to just do it right on cloudflare. Not sure.
