My world got deleted but why?

Ok so i asked somebody if i can upgrade my minehut server to 1.17 without the world was reseting. The guy said yes and then i upgraded my world. and now im sad and crying cause my world got deleted so what do i do? im not happy with minehut right now.

Sounds like the world got corrupted switching from 1.16.4/5 to 1.17. Check your backups and see if you have anything there

Do /worlds. You may just be in a different world from your stuff. You can then do /world <world> to teleport to the other worlds in the list and set it back to the default world.

tbh I don't think associating minehut with one person's advice is fair
