My minecraft world reset

for some reason on the server im playing, it for not reason just reset the world, I dont know why it happened, last i remember i died, picked my stuff back up and left, and i come on the server a few days later all everything is gone, just a new world, ive tried loading up a backup but that just takes me to a new world again

If you changed the Level name setting on the Settings tab, change that setting back to the original name (default is world) and restart the server. You can also check /worlds to see a list of all worlds installed on your server.

Without the backup you can't revert back to your original world.

thank you, I didnt do this but since I thought my world was gone, i reset the server, changing the settings back to default, this then allowed me to load up my world, thank you for telling though, if i didnt reset my server settings, this would have helped alot, but thank you!
