How do I make a private server so only me and my friends can join

I don't know how to make it private, I wanna start one with just me and my friends but randoms keep finding the server on the server list and they are joining

Just incase, you can whitelist your server with /whitelist on, and add your friends with /whitelist add [username].

This will prevent other users from joining your server!

Additionally, you can set "Server Visibility" (Under the Appearance Tab on the Minehut Server Panel) to "Not Visible"
This will ensure that nobody can see your server on the server list, however as stated by Brim I would recommend you also toggle whitelist so that nobody can find your server via IP.

People can still join even if you set the server visibility to false. There is a random server feature in the lobby.
