how to set gamemode to creative in the survival?(new server)

Go into settings and where it says default game mode or something set it to creative

Alternatively you can use commands /gamemode creative.

The way coltoncougar said above sets the default gamemode to creative. Meaning whenever anyone joins, they will be in creative. If you want to just set your gamemode to creative, do /gamemode creative after opping yourself. To op yourself. type /op <name> in the server console. YOu can find the console in the appearance tab on the panel. It should say "Server Commands".
