Certain commands are not working

These 2 commands I tested and work in a single player world

/give @p iron_boots{display:{Name:"[{\"text\":\"Speedy Boi\",\"italic\":false}]",Lore:["[{\"text\":\"Speed 2\",\"italic\":false}]"]},Unbreakable:1} 1

 

 

/execute as @a[nbt={Inventory:[{Slot:100b,id:"minecraft:iron_boots",tag:{display:{Name:"[{\"text\":\"Speedy Boi\",\"italic\":false}]",Lore:["[{\"text\":\"Speed 2\",\"italic\":false}]"]},Unbreakable:1}}]}] run effect give @s jump_boost 1 1 false

 

Other commands seem to work though, I don't know why. I am using a command block and it does not appear red, everything seems like it should work. I also made sure that the commands.yml config looks like this:

Do you have a plugin called Essentials? Try doing /minecraft:give @p instead.

If they work on your single player 1.16.1 world and don't work on Minehut 1.16.1 world... I can only assume its because of the PaperSpigot it's running.. and there's nothing you can do about that.

This would explain why it works on singleplayer and not your server.

Like Tarna said, if you have Essentials then you should use "/minecraft:give" instead of "/give". If not, you should take your Logs > latest.log file and send it here.
