  2. M I N E H U T C O M M U N I T Y F A Q HOW TO USE TO PLAYERVAULT REQUIREMENTS: PLAYERVAULT DIFFICULTY: EASY Introduction to PlayerVaults: Playervaults is a useful plugin that allows users to create their own vaults, these are similar to portable backpacks or enderchests, here you can store all your items! Using the basic playervaults commands: All users start with just the /pv command, this opens one of their vaults, they can store their items here, if you’ve allowed users to create multiple vaults this command will turn into /pv (number of the vault) Opped users will have a few variants of this command, you’ll get /pv (user) and /pv (user) (number) to open another user’s vault. You can also delete your own vault with /pvdel (number of the vault) or delete another user’s vault if you’re opped with /pvdel (user) (number) Permission nodes: Playervaults has quite a few permission nodes, and they can change up a few things for the users. To change the number of vaults a user can have you can give them the permission playervaults.amount.(number of vaults). If you want to change the size of their vaults, you can give them the permission playervaults.size.# and choose a number between 1 and 6, the default is 6 rows. There are a few permission nodes you can give to ranks as well that give them permissions to delete vaults or look at other user’s vaults, these however are only recommended to be given to high members of your server like staff. To let them delete vaults, you can give them playervaults.delete and to give them the Playervault admin perms (lets them look at vaults and delete them.) You can give them playervaults.admin Require further assistance?: If you need more help on this topic, head over to this section of forums or join our Discord! https://youtu.be/SsKrGi3RsCo Compiled by the Minehut Staff Team
  3. You can't, you can recommend plugins here https://forums.minehut.com/forum/20-plugins/ but Minehut sadly does not allow custom plugins and mods.

    Curiosity!

    > with direct IP The last time this was mentioned was by Luke 3 years ago, I kinda doubt it'll happen anytime soon. > and the possibility of integrating textures, shaders, addons (mod) You can already use texturepacks, shaders are client side and mods will not happen anytime soon.

  20. M I N E H U T C O M M U N I T Y F A Q HOW TO USE WORLDEDIT REQUIREMENTS: WORLDEDIT DIFFICULTY: MEDIUM Introduction to WorldEdit: WorldEdit is a well-known plugin used by many builders to make building a lot easier, it can do a wide range of things like filling in huge walls or copying and pasting a build you’ve made! Getting started: To get started you’re going to need a world edit wand, you can get this by typing //wand in the chat, make sure you’re OP as well. One of the more used commands in world edit is the set command, this allows you to set a certain area to a specific block, to create the area all you have to do is create a kind of invisible box with your wand by left and right clicking two corners (this will be used for most of the later commands as well!) After this just type //set <block> and your selection will turn into the block of choice. Since it’s quite easy to make mistakes with world edit they’ve also added a command that allows you to undo your edits, all you have to do is type //undo but if you regret doing this you can also type //redo to get your change back. Copying and pasting builds: Using the wand and the technique that was just used for setting an area you can also copy and paste builds. Go ahead and select a certain build you’d like to copy and then type //copy in the chat, if you want to get rid of the build to paste it later you can use //cut too (it’s recommended to copy the build while being on the ground because the paste depends on the place where you stood when copying.) You’ve put the build in your clipboard and now you can go ahead and paste it in a different area with //paste, if you’ve copied a big build you can also use //copy -a to get rid of the air from the copied build when pasting it to make it less laggy. Extra: There are also some other neat commands related to the copy and paste feature, these being //rotate, which rotates the build and //flip which flips it. Want to go more advanced?: World edit has a lot more commands than just the once explained above, even the basic commands can be made a bit more difficult to make your builds look even better! Patterns: Most commands allow for patterns to be set, these make your set selection have more blocks, this can be used with most commands but to keep it a bit easier I’ll be explaining it with the //set command. The way the pattern works is //set <block1,block2,block3…> but you can go a bit further than that, so if I want 50% stone, 25% dirt and 25% glass I would use the command //set 50%stone,25%dirt,25%glass Brushes: Most builders that create huge builds use the brush feature in world edit, they make it a bit easier to create big builds without too much. The basic command is //brush sphere <pattern> <radius> while holding an item you want to use as the tool, once you right click a block it’ll create a sphere. You can change the size or material of the spheres with //size and //material when holding your current brush. 21. M I N E H U T C O M M U N I T Y F A Q HOW TO USE REDPROTECT REQUIREMENTS: REDPROTECT DIFFICULTY: EASY Introduction to RedProtect: RedProtect is a plugin similar to WorldGuard, used for protecting builds but only takes up one plugin slot, it’s quite easy to use as well! Creating a region: Just like WorldGuard and WorldEdit you need to get a wand and create an invisible box for the area you want to protect, to get the want all you have to do is type /rp wand and you’ll be given the wand, just left and right click the two areas and you’ll have done the first step. After this all you have to do is define the region with /rp define (name) Adding flags: Luckily the flag system for this plugin is a bit easier to use, when standing in your region just type /rp flag and it’ll give you a nice GUI, here you can view all the flags in the current state, hovering over it will show you more about it and clicking on it will change the state of it. Want to go more advanced?: RedProtect comes with a few extra stuff besides just creating regions. One of the other useful features is private chests, this stops other users from stealing your items. To make your chests private you have to put a sign on your chest and type [private] on the first line, you have to leave the second line blank but you can use line 3 and 4 to add other users to be allowed to open your chest. You can also add a special welcome message to your region, just lets users know they’ve entered a new region, you can set this or turn it off using /rp welcome <message/off> Require further assistance?: If you need more help on this topic, head over to this section of forums, or join our Discord! 22. M I N E H U T C O M M U N I T Y F A Q HOW TO MAKE YOUR WORLD FLAT REQUIREMENTS: NONE DIFFICULTY: EASY Introduction to creating a flat world: Many users enjoy having a flat world to create amazing builds without having the surrounding area with their build, having a flat world just makes building a bit easier. To start you need to make sure the server is offline but still out of hibernation, then you go into the settings tab and search for “level type” and change it from default to flat. After setting it to flat head over to the world tab on the panel and reset the world (this will get rid of any builds you’ve made so make sure you want to make your world flat!) You can then start your server and start playing on your flat world! You can also use MultiVerse to create a flat world, make sure to check out the MultiVerse tutorial here! 23. M I N E H U T C O M M U N I T Y F A Q HOW TO CHANGE YOUR DIFFICULTY REQUIREMENTS: NONE DIFFICULTY: EASY Introduction to the changing difficulty: Minecraft allows users to change the difficulty of their world, this lets them make the game as easy or as difficult as possible to play, which can make it more challenging or easier to beat! How to see what difficulty the server is: To first see what difficulty your server is on, all you have to do is type /difficulty in-game, this requires you to be OP. The command will give you a certain response ranging from peaceful to hard mode. Peaceful spawns no hostile mobs while hard mode will spawn a lot of dangerous mods and makes it a lot easier for you to die from them. How to change the difficulty: Changing the difficulty is quite easy, just head over to the panel and click the edit button, make sure the server is online. After this just head over to the settings tab on the side and you’ll see the difficulty options near the bottom, here you can change it to whatever you want it to be. Once you’ve done all this just go ahead and restart your server and it should be on a different difficulty!
