Cannonbolt101 Posted October 5, 2023 Share Posted October 5, 2023 So I recently learned that free servers have an 8 hour time limit? I find that a bit annoying, but not the end of the world. Cannonbolt101 Posted October 5, 2023 Author Share Posted October 5, 2023 the screenshot shows it was only active for 2 hours and 38 minutes, and the 30 minute warning was already given by that point. Players being kicked from their server could mean a number of things, however the most likely cause is due to the server crashing, if the server experiences a crash all of it's users are kicked from that server until it is rebooted. So it was introduced without the playerbase in thought and only for an even bigger profitable gain as there are already other optional subscription plans for people who make servers with above 10 players, makes sense, should've seen it coming I suppose, I've had a server with a few friends now for over a year, I've loved it up till now, somehow it feels demoralizing with this new time limit and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. z0inckz Posted November 22, 2023 Share Posted November 22, 2023 Me and my friend have been playing for only and hour and a half, but the time limit is apparently "4 hours" we we're really disappointed and bummed out when this happened we decided to end it the moment we saw this pop up (more like 5 minutes later, because I was confused as to why there was a time limit now) anyways, i genuinely hope they bring back the old servers or what used to be 8 hours of gameplay. Minehut loses a lot of money from free servers. Maybe instead of complaining you get less free stuff, be happy you can get the service for free.
