how do i download my world without being in it?

so me and my friends world has broken and we need to download it, but we cant get into the world, anyway we can download it without being in the world? please help!

Currently, there is no way to download your world without going onto the server. Can you send me your server logs after attempting to start and join the server? Because with the server logs, we can help in determining whats wrong with your server and why it isn't starting.

If you don't know how to get your server logs, here is a tutorial how. And send them in a pastebin.com.

This error msg usually occurs when you try to join your server too soon after it starting up. Try stopping it, starting it and waiting ~1 minute and then try joining.
