skPerm broken on Minehut?

I was having issues with skPerm, so I contacted the author. He helped me how he could, but it ended with it coming down to Minehut being the source of the problem. 

 

Basicly, the plugin can't detect PEX on Minehut, it just doesn't work.

Took a quick glance at the versions and it seems like both Vault and Sk-Perm are updated to the latest plugin versions on Minehut. Could it be an issue with PermissionsEx perhaps? That plugin itself hasn't been maintained/updated in over 3 years now so I wouldn't be surprised if it had issues or bugs.
