Why Non-Op players can't use plugins?

If you don't have OP, you can't use plugins. I tried lp and pex but it didn't worked. Can someone please what should I do exactly, don't just tell "use lp" please.

Heya! Minehut has many permission plugins, I recommend using luckperms as it's more updated than PEX or other ones. Though all commands are mentioned here > https://github.com/lucko/LuckPerms/wiki/Command-Usage

The main command for giving perms to the default group would be /lp group default permission set (node) true

All permission nodes can easily be found by googling "(plugin) permission nodes"

I tried it but didn't worked. Non-op players get "You don't have permission" or something like that.

It could be because of essentials, does anyone know how to give perms to use essentials?

@LeaderPirateHere is a list of essentials permissions http://wiki.mc-ess.net/doc/permissions. Use PermissionsEx plugin to give these permissions to users by using the command /pex user <player username> add <permission>.
