I think you're jumping to conclusions. That's not at all why I asked. The reason is that if there is already a plugin that already supports these things, I'd like to help you out by suggesting it first. I'd also just advise using a plugin like LuckPerms anyways since it by and far is the most supported by the community. You'll almost certainly run into more issues running a permission plugin less than 1% uses compares to something that is used by a majority of servers.

 

That being said, I've still recorded your suggestion and we will look into it to see if it's possible to add to the list of permission plugins we support on Minehut. Please be patient while we do this. You may still want to use another plugin (whether that is LuckPerms or not) until then.

Holographic Displays and TAB should already be updated.

 

Crazy Crates needs to be updated by its author before we can update it on Minehut.

This plugin says it only supports up to 1.12, and Minehut is currently on 1.16. It's very likely it won't work, especially in the case of anti-cheats.

As far as I'm aware this feature may be added in the future, but Minehut doesn't support it as of yet.

 

For the time being plugins still need to be reviewed by an admin and manually added to the panel before users can access them. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

 

If there are any that you find missing from the panel you can feel free to make another thread suggesting it.

Thanks for pointing that out. We'll leave both up for now since disabling the plugin might break people's servers, however I will only be updating the most recent one going forward.

OpenAudioMC was removed recently as it was reportedly not compatible with Minehut. Feel free to suggest another similar plugin if you can find one that is updated to 1.16.

We do not add outdated plugins to Minehut, as they are not likely to work (or if they do they have bugs), and are not likely to be updated in the future.

 

If you can find similar plugins that support 1.16.4 you can suggest them in a new thread.

No there is not mod support because Minehut does not run modded servers, which requires Forge. Minehut uses Bukkit, which only allows adding Bukkit plugins (modify vanilla game mechanics / behavior, but cannot add new blocks, etc, since clients are not required to install anything).

Thanks for the suggestions! Both look great, and since they are free, it will probably not be much of an issue to have them added to Minehut provided that they are not known to cause any security risks to servers (backdoors, etc). For now, until we have time to review them, you might want to look into Matrix anticheat which is already on Minehut and has been receiving relatively frequent updates.

MundoSK was also disabled (likely for similar reasons to that which @TheGoose mentioned). It probably won't be coming back any time soon.

Ships was updated fairly recently so it should be working. Let me know if you are having any issues, and provide server startup info (file manager -> logs/latest.log) if there are any errors.

Is it not possible to use a plugin to set up signs or placeholders with LuckPerms? Usually any chat plugin will handle that, so I'm fairly certain you can already do these things.

@EarthAgar Also the link for that first plugin seems to be dead, since it says the download is no longer available. If you're able to find the same plugin on Spigot that would be preferable.

No need to bump or repost at all. I record every suggestion on the forum until we're able to take the time to carefully review them. We're trying to be fair and go through them all in chronological order, except for extremely popular requests which may get prioritized and be added sooner.

 

If you see other plugin requests made after you get added, and this one is still not, you can certainly feel free to ask about it or repost. It may be a while, so your patience is appreciated. Also I'd prefer one suggestion per thread unless they are related plugins, since it's easier to keep track of that way.

 

In addition, plugin updates are always done first, and any extra time is spent on reviewing new plugins. Hope that answers and clarifies any questions you had about the general process.
