    OP

With our latest update you no longer use the / when entering a command into the live console. You would enter: op username

So My friend and I were in the middle of making Houses and buildings in my server and then we decided we wanted to change the name. We changed it in the minehut server controls but it wouldn’t change when we looked at the server. We restarted our Minecraft tab but it still wouldn’t change so my friend told me to restart the server (the red button on the right side of the stop button) so that it would refresh it and the name would change. It didn’t and now all my houses and buildings are gone and it’s a whole new world, I just wanna know that if the hit that restart button, will it start a Delete everything and start a whole new world? Or if I go into the world tab and click reset world will it will delete Everything and restart a whole new world? Or do both buttons delete and restart a whole new world. I’m really confused and I’m new to controlling minehut servers so I wanna know in the future. Thank you! Sorry for any grammatical errors.

You can use the /worlds command to find your previous world.

  2. Restart will stop and start your server up again, you can use this if you have made changes that need a restart to take affect. Reset will completely wipe your server and set it back to it's original default state.

  3. To set up your server, follow these instructions:

    1. When you have logged into the dashboard you will see a button saying 'Activate server'. It should be a blue button in the center of your screen.
    2. Clicking the activate server button will then put your service status as 'starting'.
    3. You will then need to wait for a sound to indicate when your server has come online, or watch the countdown. Please note that this sound could take anywhere from 30 seconds to two minutes to activate.
    4. From there you will see an area which says 'Connect:'. This is your server address. (Keep in mind that whichever server name you chose, that will be what's in front of .minehut.gg).
    5. Once you have completed all of the above steps you can head over to your Minecraft launcher and select multiplayer and then select the direct connection option.
    6. The final step is to paste the server address inside of the text box and click 'join server'.

We also have a video tutorial on how to set up your free Minehut server located here: https://bit.ly/3k6W5ik

  4. If you select two points with the //wand command and type //expand vert which will expand your region vertically. Next type /region claim (name of region, make it up) (owner, so your minecraft username) (worldname). If this doesn't work I would recommend asking in the Plugins section under Suggestions.
