Custom Domains

We have a Minehut External server and i added our custom domain (play.vividmcc.net) and minehut it. when you go the the server it pings, shows the correct MOTD and then on join disconnects you. 

Custom domains: Play.vividmcc.net

Custom Domains: VividMCC.net

minehut external server: vividmccc.minehut.gg

I also have another question, our server is VividMCC. we own domains for it and before we switched off minehut we had a server called vividmc however we don't remember the password for the account or email. If someone could also help with this thank you!

Make sure you set your SRV record to use the "play" subdomain as well since that's the one you have verified. Since it looks like the SRV record you made is for "vivdmcc.net" rather than for "play.vividmcc.net".

Also for your other question, if you don't have access to an email for an account, there is nothing you can do about it.

1. oh okay, update: the srv one was a test it and it works beacuse its just forwarding however shows this on the server listing. however play.vividmcc.net is using TXT and pointing to minehuts verication, it doesnt even allow you to join.

Pics 1 & 2 are vividmcc.net, pics 3 &4 are play.vividmcc.net, 5th & 6th is a pic of how minehut says to add the domain, 7th is my dns

2. also is there anyway to delete that server as it hasnt been active in forever? is there a inactivity time limit?

3. Do you know if theres a way to add texture packs to a external server? minehuts external server points to my velocity server, however 3 servers on my network have the same texture pack and when you try to join it kicks you for it requesting a texturepack, any idea if this is a thing? if not when will they add it?

Your domain seems to be working fine for me.

you set it to the wrong IP. you have the SRV record routed to minehut.vividmccc.gg. Its supposed to be <server>.minehut.gg

yes, i know however minehut does not support SRV for custom domains. it wants a TXT file

WAIT DO YOU HAVE TO VERIFY FIRST THEN SWITCH TO SRV

Side note, are texture packs being added? some of my server require a texture pack and when you join them it kicks you for not using the custom texturepack.
