muted in the minehut lobby

some guy was asking if there are any anarchy servers that he can play on. so i said yes and told him the ip. later i got banned for advertising without using /ad. can someone help?

 

also there is a bug where i try to /msg someone on my server it still says that i am muted even tho i am not in the lobby

You didn't get banned, you probably just got muted. And since you are muted, you can't use any Minehut messaging things including /msg no matter if you are in the lobby or not.

You can appeal here if you'd like but you technically did break a rule. Putting a server ip in chat that is not using /ad is considered advertising without /ad.
