My friends cant join! Help!

Yo, I'm new to minehut and I wanted to make a server so me and my friends can play together. (I tried the option Mojang offers but couldn't get that to work, my friend directed me to minehut and said she hasn't had any problems with it) I went through the setup and got my ip working fine on my computer, but my friends cant connect! My server visibility is on, and we're both on the same version. HELP!

By chance, are you using a cracked version of Minecraft?

Is it possible your friend is using a cracked version of Minecraft? If not, are they on 1.16.5 and what errors are they receiving?
