Whitelist issue

My friend made a server and has whitelisted me and a couple of other friends but for some reason I'm the only one that is not able to join the server. When trying to join it says "You are not whitelisted on this server!" but as we've checked multiple times I am whitelisted. And they have tried reenlisting me a couple of times regularly and from server console. We've checked the ip and spelling of my ign and everything is correct. I've also tried relogging my account, trying to join on different versions. At this point I don't really know what to do and some help would be appreciated.

The uuid that was shown wasn't mine so we switched it to the correct one and after a little bit of time it worked and I was able to get on the server.

Are you sure your friend put your name in exactly when whitelisting you? Try telling him to check the whitelist.json file in the file manager to see if your name is shown there.

@_Tarna_They checked and my name is on there and is correct.

Maybe try deleting the whitelist.json file and restart the server. Then once the server is back, readd all your whitelisted players again and see if that fixes anything.

Oh ok nice. Not sure why it showed a random uuid there. Never seen that happen before. But glad you figured out the issue.
