swirs
M I N E H U T C O M M U N I T Y F A Q HOW TO USE HOLOGRAPHIC DISPLAYS REQUIREMENTS: Holographic displays DIFFICULTY: EASY Introduction to chosen topic Holographic Displays is a plugin that lets you explore your creativity and add a cool new look to your server! It is very useful when displaying information about how your server works. Creating a hologram: /hd create name | This command creates a new hologram. The name is set to what you type in the “name” parameter. It will display a default message until you change it. /hd addline example Hello world | This command edits the displayed message, in this example, it will now display “Hello world”. /hd removeline example 1 | This command removes a line from your hologram. The “1” specifies which line of the hologram you will remove. Moving a hologram: /hd movehere name | This command repositions the hologram you specify under the name section. The hologram will be moved to your current location. Deleting a hologram: /hd delete name | This command deletes the specified hologram. Colors and Formatting Holograms support standard colors and formatting like most plugins. It also includes an additional color feature, a rainbow effect which can be activated using the tag “&u”. Here is an example that shows how the formatting works: /hd create example &b&lColor Test: &uRainbow Floating items Another cool feature with holographic displays is the ability to create floating items! By using the format ICON: <material> you can display an item to add an extra look to the hologram. Here is an example that would display a diamond: /hd create example ICON: diamond. Using place holders An additional feature with holographic displays is the ability to display the online player count. This can be done using the following command: /hd create example Player Online: {online} Some other placeholders that are available are: {max_player} | Displays the max amount of players able to join the server. {player} | Displays the players name {displayname} | Displays the players displayed name. {time} | Displays the real world's time. You can change the format and timezone in the configuration. Require further assistance?: If you need more help on this topic, head over to this section of forums, or join our Discord!
