Ban The P2W servers.

This is just getting ridiculous. I can't play a server without it being p2w. Minehut needs to step in and fix this problem. Alot of servers i've seen have 20+ dollar ranks adding stuff like /fly /fix /feed. Doesn't this remove the entire point of the game when you can legit just speed around at the speed of sound. I ain't playing this server till this is fixed.

This is also no longer against minecrafts eula.

It still is very much part of the eula. Where did you get that info from?

they have no control over what players do on their own server.

To a certain extent, they actually do. See Section A: Player Server Rules:

No it isnt, they removed it recently and have never done anything with it either.

@ztimhirsch1 How can they have "removed it" if they have "never done anything with it"?

How would you explain these article then that literally talk about Mojang going after P2W servers back in 2014?:
https://www.pcgamesn.com/minecraft/mojang-clarify-new-server-rules-prevent-minecraft-servers-becoming-pay-win
https://kotaku.com/mojang-is-trying-to-kill-pay-to-win-on-minecraft-server-1591663994
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2014/jun/24/minecraft-how-a-change-to-the-rules-is-tearing-the-community-apart

How do explain how it literally still says in the EULA that:

Quote

"if you comply with and follow the Brand and Asset Usage Guidelines and Naming Guidelines above, YOU MAY:"

"sell entitlements that affect gameplay provided that they do not adversely or negatively another player’s experience and provided they do not give a competitive gameplay advantage."

^AKA You can not sell items, commands ,etc. that give a player an advantage over other players. AKA No P2W.

^Quoted straight from Mojang's Commercial Guidelines part of the EULA, right underneath the "Servers and Hosting" section:
https://account.mojang.com/documents/commercial_guidelines

How would explain this part of the report a server a for breaking commercial guidelines form?:
mojang-report-server-for-breaking-commercial-guidelines-form.png.4f96de7e872031ca5264199697f2c21e.png
This is the same form that the mod had replied with.

I think you're in denial buddy.

Are we just ignoring all the p2w servers like hypixel and vanitymc? Like I said. They don't enforce it.

Why are you talking about Hypixel and vanitymc now?

You were saying that they removed the rules against P2W servers in the EULA and I am showing you why you are wrong in thinking that. Hypixel, Vanitymc or any other server that you think might be P2W has nothing to due with our discussion.

Bruh. Hypixel is not pay to win. Just because they leave some beta features or things they let MVP++ people have dosen't mean they are pay to win. They are just making some money because how the hell do you think they support over like 3000 mini servers without selling stuff? Also, that stuff is all cosmetic. It doesn't change the game in any way. @ztimhirsch1 I recommend you to lookup what "Pay to win" is considered.

Hypixel is technically p2w bc boosters get you coins and coins get you advantages

That is not P2W. Coins get you cosmetics and cool effects and boosters earn more coins depending on which game is boosted. The only thing that is a bit P2W about hypixel is housing (also sorry about being a new member I lost the credentials of my old account)
