playing alone

so i want to play with my friend alone in my server but when i play alone or with him there will be someone joining randomly . is there an option when only me and my friend can join the server ? and also he took all our stuff and i didn't save before

You can whitelist the server so only people added to the whitelist can join. First do /whitelist on. This will turn the server whitelist on and only people added to it can join. If you ever want to turn it off, just do /whitelist off. To add a player to a whitelist, do /whitelist add <player>. Add you and your friend so only you two can join. If you ever want to remove a player from the whitelist, you can do /whitelist remove <player>.
