Insanely laggy server

Hi there! I play on a free plan server with some friends. (No plugins at all) And we are experiencing heavy lag up to 1000 ping, while our ping to the router is below 30 ms. We really dont know how to fix this and its really annoying to die to a spider that just tp's around.

If your ping to the server is 1000, its probably not the server lag. Could just be the connection to you and the server being bad. Try doing /tps to see what it says and do this timings thing to see what might be causing the lag if its not user lag.
