Players can join During Hibernation

My friend who doesn’t have my login info can start the server up, even when in hibernation, using the /join command, and I really do not want people to join when I can’t even control it, unless of course I have to result to /whitelist and turning it off and on. How can I stop this from happening?

can you describe the glitch you're talking about?

The only way is to just whitelist the server so no one can join but the people you want. Just turn the whitelist on and add you and your friends so no one else can join.
