Progress lost?

This happened on my server yesterday to my friend and happened to me too a few weeks ago, he was playing for about and hour or so and he made some pretty important progress, when he rejoined his progress from when he was playing was reset but not anything before that. Any ideas how to prevent this, he is pretty bummed because he did some pretty grindy stuff. Any help is appreciated.

Do /worlds. You may have gotten teleported to a different world. To then teleport to the other worlds, do /world <world>. You need to be op to do these commands. And to fix this, just change the default world of your server to the name of the world you want. You can do this by changing the level name in the settings tab on the panel to the world name, click save and restart your server.

You didn't see any other worlds when you did /worlds? Not sure then. Maybe just try to do /save-all before logging out.

I can confirm I'm having the same issue. I lost a day's worth of progress; the world is the same.
