How to make players spawn in a different world (without plugins?)

Every time my server starts up, it spawns in the original world, not the uploaded one. How can I fix this? (preferably without plugins because those don't make sense to me?

I recommend just getting the essentials suite of plugins and using the command /setspawn. I can't really think of a way to do it without plugins.

Do I get Essentials, EssentialsSpawn, or both? And are there any steps I need to do afterwards before /setspawn will work? @Jackson85

I figured out how to install the plugins, but I am still spawning in the original world instead of the uploaded one.

Try also doing /setworldspawn there as well. It should work. If not then you could get a rank system like Groupmanager or PEX and have a default rank which will send players there. The /setspawn made it default for spawn.

Hey @TheGreatBones you should be able to change the default world in the server properties tab in console under "level name"
