I can't make permissions that have space bars in the command. for example i do /pex group default add kit pvp it says it added the perms of kit in the default rank btw I am using pex

Try using it like /pex group default add "kit pvp" or use a permission without spaces, as it makes it easier to manage.

Is the permission node supposed to be kit.pvp ?

Very few, if any permissions will have spaces, they will most often be something.something. What Tarna said is a probably answer as to what the permission is supposed to be.

I'd suggest checking your plugin/skript for KitPvP and looking at what the permission nodes (words) are.
