How do I decrease the render distance of the server?

I make an automatic wither skeleton farm, and as you know you need to put slabs most of the near blocks to make that it works properly, but I read that if you put your render distance in 3 chunks, you will not need to put slabs, I tried this in a normal word, and it works, but when I tried in my server it doesn't work, so how do I do this in a Minehut server?

If you go into your minehut console > go to settings > scroll down to the end > there should be a setting named "View Distance" change that to your liking.
