Text Chat Colours

So I made a bunch of "ranks" for my server. So each rank has it's own colour and when you type in chat it should have that colour. I did this exact thing on my singleplayer vanilla 1.15.2 world. But now on my Multiplayer BungeeCord 1.15.2 server it doesn't work. Does anyone know why? And btw I am using the /team command.

You could use an actual permission/group plugin, for example LuckPerms. There is quite a few tutorials on how to use it, and if you get stuck I'd be happy to help you. My discord is below
