  2. Staff Application Format Welcome to the ClickInABox, first off, I'd like to thank you for wanting to apply and say that I'm that you've enjoyed your experience on ClickInABox so much that you want to give back to not only the Community but to also improve the server and its future as a whole. There are a few things you need to know before you make an application - Bringing up your application in chat or around Staff members, or directly to a Staff member may result in either a denial or your chances of becoming Staff decreased, if you are denied you may not apply to become Staff for at least two weeks. It may take us up to two weeks to respond to your application, so please be patient, typically a Staff member (not your acceptance/denial response) will respond to you within at least a week, you may bump your thread if you have not received a response whether from a Staff member or a player in general within the last 48 hours of your last comment/post. Also, you must wait 7 days before submitting another application. Early submissions will result in an instant denial. Lastly, again, thank you for applying, and good luck applicants! - 14+ (exceptions can be made) - Strong understanding of the server - Understandable microphone - Active in-game and in discord - Strong understanding and knowledge of rules APPLICATION FORMAT Personal Details: Minecraft In-Game Name: Previous In-Game Names: Discord Name and Tag (Ex: Pndq#2240): How old are you? What are some hobbies, activities or achievements you have outside of Minecraft? Situational Questions: If the server is being botted, what would you do? If you get into an argument with a player, how would you try to resolve the situation? Would you come to terms with their side of the argument or would you just stop arguing? Tell us about a mistake you made in the past. What did you learn from this mistake and how did you deal with it? If a staff member’s account was hacked, what would you do? You see a player claiming he was false banned on another server. He begins to talk about botting. How do you react? There is a player constantly saying bad things about the staff team, but they aren't technically breaking any rules? What do you do? A player, who claims to be friends with staff, is messaging you saying he will tell his friends that you are abusing your permissions if you punish them. What do you do in this situation? A player messages you with your personal information. He threatens to leak it if you don't un-punish them. How would you react in this situation? Anything else you would like to tell us? Thank you for applying. You will receive a response within 3 days. Please be patient.
  3. Minecraft In-Game Name: PixelampYT Previous In-Game Names: PixelCraft_I_D_K, Ghost_Sans Discord Name and Tag (Ex: Pndq#2240): PixelCraft_I_D_K (I don't have a tag) How old are you? 17 What is your time zone? EST microphone? (yes/no): No, but I'll get one in a week. Do you have the ability to record hackers?: Yes. Screen recorders and the replay mod. What languages do you speak (fluently)?: Spanish, German, English, French General Details: Why did you decide to apply for staff on ClickInABox? I would like to grow the community and have people be as respectful as possible to new players. Why should we accept you over other applicants? I don't think you should accept me specifically other than other players, because I'm sure they'd like a job too, but I'd say I have good grammar, I'm online about 5-7 hours a day, and I also am respectful to players and do my job. What are your strengths and weaknesses? Strengths: Online 5-7 hours a day, respectful, good worker, listens to orders Weaknesses: Not any I can really think of. Maybe weaknesses like somehow unbannable players, or toxic ones. What moderation experience do you have? Explain what you learned from these experiences: I've been a moderator on CubeCraft, Block Strikes Back, SuperHeroes, TheKitPits, JuicyKits, RickyBox, and more. I learned from these experiences that you should never abuse or cheat with your command powers. Have you ever been punished on Plex or any other Minecraft servers? If so, why were you punished and how did you learn from it? I've only been punished on one server for hacking, this was a long time ago and the owner told me to hack for some reason. I did, and then they banned me. It was pretty stupid. What are some hobbies, activities or achievements you have outside of Minecraft? I like going outside, playing Roblox, I also am really into SCP. Situational Questions: If the server is being botted, what would you do? I would kick the bot, and if they were to join back, I'd ban them. If you get into an argument with a player, how would you try to resolve the situation? Would you come to terms with their side of the argument or would you just stop arguing? I'd try to find a solution to me and the player's problem, so we can both have a good outcome. But if we were to keep arguing, I'd just stop arguing. Tell us about a mistake you made in the past. What did you learn from this mistake and how did you deal with it? I was about to mute a player for swearing on a no-swearing server, but I accidently perma-banned them. I quickly un-did it and I told the staff I was sorry and would never do it again. I learned that you should always look at what you've typed before you send it! If a staff member’s account was hacked, what would you do? I'd contact higher-up staff and tell them to remove them from the moderation team and add a new account. I'd also get proof of their account being hacked via Minecraft or Discord. You see a player claiming he was false banned on another server. He begins to talk about botting Mux. How do you react? I'd tell them not to, and if they ignored me, I'd log on the server the player was banned on and tell them to unban him quickly. I'd also ask why he was banned. If they refused to unban him, I'd warn them that there was a bot raid coming. There is a player constantly saying bad things about the staff team, but they aren't technically breaking any rules? What do you do? I'd tell them to maybe not be so rude due to the fact that "we worked hard to become staff." If they kept doing it, I'd contact a higher staff member and ask them to help deal with the situation. A player, who claims to be friends with staff, is messaging you saying he will tell his friends that you are abusing your permissions if you punish them. What do you do in this situation? I would take a screenshot of him messaging me that and send it to an admin or a higher staff member, then I'd punish them if they did something wrong. If they told their friends, I'd have the admin come in and stop them. A player messages you with your personal information. He threatens to leak it if you don't un-punish them. How would you react in this situation? I would immediately contact a higher staff member, and then I'd report the player on Minecraft. I would tell the MC staff that this player got my personal information and I'd get them banned before they can leak it. Anything else you would like to tell us? Yes. I'd like you to know that I have no idea of abusing and I promise I will not break the rules in any way. I also understand if I am not accepted, and I will not bug staff about my application.
  4. ClickInABox Staff Process Hey! Thank you for wanting to apply for staff on Click! The staff team worked on this process in order to find the best staff for the job. Although the process seems long, it will help us determine who is ready to dedicate their time to Click and helping out. As long as you be yourself, you should do fine. Please take the time and read over the entirety of the process if you plan on applying. This will be extremely useful to know what you will be doing through this process. This process may be changed depending on the results of it. Also, it should go without saying that anything learned during any stage of the process should be kept private and should NOT be leaked. Doing so will result in a blacklist. Stage 1 - Application Stage This is the first stage of the staff process. You start by using the application format in the "Staff Applications" tab . Using that format, create a new topic under applications. Paste in your application and be sure it uses the correct format. Please be sure you are answering each question truthfully and to the best of your ability. This application will help us get an understanding of your ability. The following are some things we look for to help guide you through your application Detail - One of the main thing we look for is detail. If your application does not have a lot of detail, it shows that you did not put much effort into your application. If you can't take the time to put in effort in your application, then you should not be staff. Experience - Experience is an essential thing for a staff member to have. You learn a lot of things from experience as a staff member, and the more experience you have, the more we can see that you have the potential to be a good staff member. Requirements - Our requirements were set there for a reason. We believe the requirements we set are the best in order to make sure our staff members will be mature and professional. We want to make sure you meet these requirements because it will show us you might be mature and professional. The previous points are some things we look for when we go through applications. We look into a lot of other things including this. We look into your playtime to make sure you are active in game. We look at your punishment history and take into account your history. We also take into account your behavior in game and activity in the discord. Once you are accepted, you will be invited to the interview stage. Stage 2 - Interview Stage If you're application was accepted, you have made it to this stage. Upon entering this stage, you will receive an invite to our interview discord. Once you are in this discord, you will have to schedule an interview with the staff team. You will be asked questions about how you would fit in the the current staff team. The interview questions for this stage will change depending on who is in the current staff team. You will be asked questions by the manager and usually 1 other admin. This is just to see how you will fit in with everyone else because we want to have a staff team that is able to work together well. These interviews will be recorded and the staff team will all have a say in your interview. You shouldn't be nervous in this interview as it is just a chat with the staff team to see how you would do. If you make it though this stage you will be accepted onto the staff team! - ClickInABox Management Team
