Downloaded world but can't launch it on Single Player?

So I dowloaded my world to my pc but when I launch that downloaded world on a single player, my carachter is in dark and losing energy (like it would be inside of some blocks) and also I don't have any itmes. So I definetally do something wrong but I can't figure out what? I have followed all the instuctions and few YouTube videos too and all the files should be there in place. Any help? Thanks.

Make sure you've migrated the world correctly.

i'v done that but nothings changes. And I don't understand whats the problem?

Also on that guide it tells you to change Paper JAR to Vanilla server JAR. I don't find ant Paper JARs and even if I find it, where can I find Vanilla JAR?

What? I don't understand. What portion you're talking about?

Also I think I figure out that if I try to move from paper to vanilla, it will vipe my nether ja end (because I was already at the nether and everything was black). How do I keep those?

And if I can't how I can play this paper version on my vanilla Minecraft? Do I really need to change it to vanilla?
