Corrupted Zip files from downloading

ThisBlueMan

Question

Attempting to download any folder from the file explorer on my server starts and concludes an extremely short download that only gives me a very tiny corrupted zip file. Is this a current issue that I should just be patient with or am I doing something wrong while downloading?

Thanks.

You can only download one file at a time, so downloading whole folders don't work. You need to upgrade to a paid plan to download more than one file at once.

It's true that I get this message for downloading folders with nested folders inside, but downloading folders with only files inside goes through but ends in a corrupted file. This is also true for empty folders, which are technically one file.

As a side note, and as you may have guessed, yes, I am trying to download my world off of Minehut after not using the service for many years. I'm not impressed that this single-file limitation exists and it has thoroughly convinced me not to spend a single dollar for any reason. For the sake of users who simply want to download their worlds for archival or security purposes, I would appreciate some compromise be made here.

I believe it's because a zip file cannot be empty. A zip file is a folder zipped up with the contents inside, so downloading an empty folder as a zip file entails the zip file to be empty... and it can't be.

Bottom of the line, you cannot download folders on Minehut, only individual files at a time. I understand this can be frustrating if you want to retrieve your world, but on the up-side, any plan removes the limitation, which at the lowest I believe is about $1.50, but you would need to spend at least $5 on the lowest credit purchase.
