Trying to change game mode and world difficulty & add cheats

I'm struggling with changing the game mode for my server. I originally set it to Survival, but want to build my house in Creative, and when I go to change the settings to Creative and hit save, then restart my server, it puts me in Survival, as if I never changed any settings from creation. Is there a way I can fix this issue? I'd also like to add cheats such as keep inventory, not sure where to find that setting either. Please help. Thank you!

Here's how you can set your world to Creative mode by default:
 

1. Stop your Server
2. Scroll down to World Settings on the Minehut dashboard of your server
3. Set GameMode to 'Creative' from the dropdown menu
4. Press Save Changes
5. Start your server 

 

 

 

If this doesn't work, OP yourself by starting your server and going into the Console tab and typing 'op yourUsername' and then in-game you can do /gamemode creative

 

For enabling keepInventory, you'll also need to OP yourself and do the command '/gamerule keepInventory true' ; notice the command is case-sensitive so you must type keepInventory exactly with a lowercase K and an uppercase i.
