Plugin install not working

Hello, so, I've been trying to install the ExcellentCrates plugin via the minehut website, on my server's dashboard, in the addons tab, but whenever I click install, it says "An unknown error occured" I've also tried to just install it by dragging the .jar file in my plugins folder in the server's files manually with the plugin downloaded from spigot.com, but that didn't work either as the plugin just didn't show up when I did /plugins, I've retried several times and also made sure its compatible and nothing worked. Can you help me?

This is happening to me as well with both the excellent crates plugin and the excellent enchants plugin as well.

Hey, make sure you download the nexengine dependency excellentcrates needs.

Go back on the excellentcrates page and click on the nexengine link or click here: https://github.com/nulli0n/NexEngine-spigot/releases

download nexengine.jar and drag it into your plugins folder and excellentcrates should work.
