My Progress is gone..

yesterday i was playign with my friend, since he dosent have a good computer. 1.18 could not run on his comp. Which is why i watched a video of minehut about backing up the server. in the video, they succeeded but i forgot to go to the world option and press "save" and innstead of going there i went to the backups saved the server, and then i changed the version to 1.17.1 and restarted it. I went inside the server only to see all my 5 week progress gone. Only my friend work was there. other than that. everythign was gone.... pls help me if you guys have any other solution.....

If y'all have no backups from before that happened I doubt you'll be able to get your server back sadly. Servers can update, but they usually corrupt when switching down to older versions.
