how do i read player data in the file manager?

you cannot read old .log files from file manager, only latest.log.

Hey!

You cant read player data without any third party software. I would suggest using NBTExplorer. You can find the download over at the NBTExplorere GitHub (Click here). When you install it, dont be surprised if Windows tries to warn you that this software might be dangerous, simply ignore that.

So if you want to read playerdata do the following things:

     1) Download your world from the File Manager on your Server Dashboard. Once its downloaded make sure to extract it!

     2) In NBTExplorer select File --> Open

     3) In your extracted world file find the player data you need and select open!

PS.: next time use the "Help" section on the forums! :))

Hey! So ive tried it, but my file manager reject the download and gives me a error

Hey!

This is a known issue. Sometimes the downloads wont work. You can try to only download the "playerdata" folder, its enough to work with!

Just in case that doesnt work either you can try to contact support here!

Hey! Yes it worked but i hit yet another blockade, the playerdata that i wanna check isnt there, only his dat_old file, and idk if thats the correct one

Interesting... Normally there should be a normal .dat file. Nonetheless it will still work just fine. However .dat_old is usually used as a backup so a few things might have changed since the file was created!
