Whitelist bugging?

  I´ve been hosting a finnish SMP-server for already a mont in Minehut. I choosed Minehut for its crossplatform availlablity, because i by myself prefer bedrock as my platform, but my friends use java. After some time the whitelist-commands started bugging? They didn´t work at all with the bedrock and PE-players. It just didn´t let them in, even thought I tried whitelisting them in every way. After some trying i noticed that this was bugging for a lot of PE-players. Could anyone help with this? Is this a common bug? I need answers.

You might need to add quotations around the bedrock player's name.

/whitelist add "*BedrockPlayer"

Did you do /whitelist add *<BedrockPlayerHere>

and just /whitelist add <JavaPlayerHere>

?
