If I try to change anything about my server it doesn't work

If I go into the settings and change the gamemode to Creative it stays Survival, and when I do it in the command line it also doesn't work, and it won't let me op myself. Is there some sort of delay? Or do I need to have the game open while doing it.

Hey, to have your server's Gamemode be put into effect, you have to tick the box that is labeled "Force Gamemode" in the settings section.

When you are trying to op yourself through the console make sure it is formatted like this:

Java: /op (username)
Bedrock: /op *(username)
