Enable Flight

How do I give a player the permission to enable flight for themselves?

You need to have the plugin "LuckPerms" to do this, once you install the plugin you need to restart your server. Once your server is back up, please type this command:

/lp user <Your friends name> permission set essentials.fly true

You also need to have the vault plugin installed and using luckperms is optional, you need any permission management plugin (such as PermissionsEx, or LuckPerms itself) and then you need to give the player a permission, if you're talking about /fly given by essentials then, yes, the permission is `essentials.fly`, but otherwise it might be another permission.

If you want to look up which permission to use the best way to is to search "<plugin> permission for <feature>"

for example: "Essentials permission for flight"

so i did that, and it worked but now how do i actually... ya know... fly?

cause /fly didnt work

you should just be able to double jump when fly is enabled
