There is EssentialsX Which also has many other features (which could be turned off/on) such as; Kits Warps Ranks Permissions Jail and much more.

My Minehut server has a problem. It makes it almost unplayable at times, the render distance for blocks is capped at something such as 12 chunks no matter what client settings I choose. And, entities such as players/mobs unload/only have a like half (around 6) the chunks in render distance. I suppose this is to keep the servers easier on the hosting side, since the service is free? Can't seem to find anything about this, on the forums. Just curious.
