    CONNECT 4 TOURNAMENT
    Hello! Everyone knows the game Connect 4, and so I made it a tournament!
    A 32 player tournament, first come first server
    You can still join as overflow, if someone bails out.

    REQUIREMENTS
    - A microphone (few exceptions)
    - Some kind of ability to record your screen (optional but really preferred)

    Hello peoples, I just grew into the "Modern Rock" stage of my life. And holy schnitzel! this music is great, I need some song suggestions that fall into this genre though, any suggestions help, will be listening to all songs.

    Some songs I have already been listing to and that I suggest:

    These are my personal favorites, If you have a really good song you would like to share, please do, I like many different genres. If you specifically have some good Modern Rock songs, that would be awesome aswell!

    So yea, I got bored of Minehut a couple months ago because of no new server ideas. So I just threw this together.

    Basically if you are well known in the community or have at least a couple brain cells then you can join the discord.
    I don't really care what the discord is used for. Just a place to chill, rant or just talk about life or something. Don't
    want to deal with most of the people in #general in the main general so I just created that. I know #general can have
    some engaging and entertaining conversations, but then it gets bombarded by some random guy.

    5. You mention server creators picking the cheaper option. I disagree. You treat minehut users and server creators as though they are intelligent beings operating with perfect reasoning. This just isn't true. I doubt they all know where to go and safely get plugin files, how to install the plugins, and how to set up the plugins. Remember that these are the same people who ask what very explicit and obvious error messages mean. Mean while, buying from the marketplace and installing the products is much easier or at least it should be if it isn't (I don't know since I have never bought from the marketplace).

     

    Just some points to consider but I do understand where you come from when you say that the changes will hurt creators of skripts that have similar functionality to existing plugins. However, I think the update should help minehut because none of the features seem particularly expensive to maintain yet significantly boost minehut's utility as a service and product.

    I understand a lot more now. I think I'm going to reply to this in a week or two, and just give an update comparing sales from last month to this month. You mentioned that the big sellers now will be worlds and server-setups. I agree with this. Although much more time consuming, I think this will be the best way to thrive on the market. Will let you all know how it is going in a week.

    Adding these features will not help Minehut with their financial situation. They were already the biggest hosting because of their community access. Since the update, their stock has dropped. Just because other hosts don't think that Minehut is a joke anymore, doesn't mean it will bring in more money. They also have to pay to put in these features, and they will lose money from the people who are scamming themselves because now they don't even need the plan.
     

    Even though Minehut is advertising the market to people, there will still be a noticeable dip in the market. With the mention of reviews, the main place where all the plugins you can get are stored, have the review. And again, most Minehut server creators will just be looking for the cheaper option. The search and filter features Minehut added is also very easy with google. I just searched "Sellwand Skript Minecraft" and the second link down was a plugin.

    To make a task better than the plugins, would not do much help, as most of the Minehut player base will not mind a couple of less features or a few more bugs if it meant keeping things free.


    For voting every single day, only 500 out of the many, many servers will be able to get the plan for free. So many other server will just spend the couple dollars a month, which adds up quickly for Minehut.     Hello, most of you know that the new Minehut Unleashed update was released. In this update was a ton of features added to file manager, one thing removed in the update was the plugin limit of 12. As much as the Minehut Community loves that this was removed, it was one of the ways that Minehut encouraged players to get a plan, and for users to buy from the market. One of my products is the Excavate, which is a replace for the Excavate mod. Now that plugins are available, and you can have as many plugins as you want, no one will want to buy the product, because you can get it for free. Same goes with 99% of other script products on the market.

    This Minehut update was amazing, but this is from a maker's POV.

    If you look at https://ir.superleague.com/financial-information/cash-flow, you will see (from the image below) that they have a net loss of 5 million dollars. Even though SLG has many other ways of income, they do need to get into the positive. This update seems to of have not helped that, as it harms the money they make from Minehut Makers, and less players will use the better plans.

    To help prevent scams, y'all should type up a contract and make them sign it with their digital signature. That way, if they violate the contract, they can be sued in a court of law. You could just make a generic contract and fill in the specific bits related to the work you are doing (amount owed, work to be done, etc) to save time.

    but on a serious note, people having the audacity to use someones want to support and develop with a community and then turn it on said person is such a bad move.

    maybe minehut will start cracking down on these things soon, hopefully.

    It appears that they have made it clear that if you get scammed, it is on you. And that they will not be helping with these cases. It is annoying, so we have to make as many scammers as possible public.
