I have also been experiencing the same on our new server. Is there anyway to decrease the lag with settings or by upgrading? I'd like to know since it is been painful to play sometimes. Lots of rubber banding and breaking the same blocks over again because of lag.

My friends and I are having this same problem with our server. I am very new to this but would love an easy way to fix this and have the named disappear!
