do /op {username} and if it doesn't work try starting your server, logging in with the account that you want to be oped and try again.

I added several Curseforge mods to my mods folder and they aren't working I also added a Lifesteal plugin that isn't working. After I added the Lifesteal plugin and it didn't work I went to the add-ons page and added a Lifesteal add-on. It also didn't work. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I added all on the things to the right folders, restarted my server, and tried to do one of the Minehut add-ons and none of them worked.
