How do i appeal after i unknowingly sent an exploit in chat?

I didn't know about the Log4Shell exploit until now, and my "friend" decided to take advantage of that and told me to post the string in chat. Me, being the sheep that I am, posts it in chat and gets permbanned. Where do I appeal? edit: this was the patched version that doesn't work anywhere anymore
