Turn Off Welcome Messages

I am trying to start up a server and want to make a custom welcome messages. I got that part working, but i wand to disable the default one that minecraft sends out so i can only have my custom one.

 

How can i do this, if i even can.

You can do this with essentials. Simply go to the config and find custom join messages. From there you can do what you need!

You can use skript like this:
 

on join:
	set join format to "%player% joined the game! Say hello!"

but how do i remove the essentials welcome message,
cause everytime someone new joins for me it says,

(pink)Welcome {PLAYER} to the server!

and

(aqua) Welcome {PLAYER} to {SERVER}

 

cause im making join messages with skript and i cant figure out how to get rid of the default pink one or edit it.
