Cant upload a custom map to a server

So I saw this post saying you can upload a custom minecraft world/map in your server by going the World Section and pressing upload map. However I have my zip file for the map (it's a horror map called POISON if that helps) but whenever I enter the server its just a regular minecraft world. It wont for some reason enter me into the map? Is there perhaps a more detailed instruction?

If you have a zip file of your map, you can upload it to a website like https://file.io or https://dropbox.com 
If you use dropbox, get the share link and change the ?dl=0 at the end to ?dl=1

Use the link you get and run the command /ul world (NAME) (LINK) ingame to upload the world.
