this also does the same thing when i try to start my own server as well

so when i try to join my friends server (Which ive been playing on for a month and a half now) it tells me that ive recently opened another server, which i have not, then tells me to wait a moment and try again. When i do wait and try again it tells me the same thing and I was wondering if theres any reason or anything im doing wrong to join all of a sudden/
