    It was meant as a moderation "technique" so they wouldn't have to deal with people being anti-semitic, but in all honesty, the word "jew" isn't always used when attempting to be anti-semitic. It was supposed to get removed from the filter (in the discord) yesterday, but I'm not sure what happened.

    Hopefully it'll get removed, seeing as people use it in a civilized conversation normally when discussing religion and such, but I'm not really sure. I hope this helps explain things.

I don't like it and I get how you feel, being a Jew myself.

    I agree, it makes little sense for them to block the word "Jew" under the pretense that people use it in derogatory ways. Words like "Christian", "Muslim" and even those not representing a religion such as "black" are not blocked but can be used in derogatory ways in the same light as "Jew". It just looks like they loosely put together a list words that can be considered disrespectful. It would make more sense for them to solely block swear words and leave it up to human intuition to tell if certain words are being used in a "derogatory light".

    So recently I created what I believe to be the worst server on Minehut. At first I created the server only to show the members of my Discord server how I come up with my server ideas. I was going to release it let anyone willing to see the process I take.

    However, suddenly people began to join the server in mass. So I thought, why not get 75 slots? Let's see what happens. And that's what I did. I got the 75 slots, changed the servers MOTD, and sent 2 messages in the hub. And boom within about 30 minutes of being up the server got 50 players:

    And being totally honest, at first I was confused. How can such a bad server get so many members to join with such minimum advertisements? They just kept coming and coming to join a server that wasn't where I wanted it to be. I began to ask myself: is this what the players of Minehut want? What's so fun about playing in a world where you can literally spawn in any block?
     

    And it kind of goes to show that any server can become popular on minehut in the stupidest way with the stupidest gameplay. I won't lie, I've gone into servers I thought were trash and asked the players why the play the server and the owner why they made the server. I know for a fact many other members of Minehut do that and I want to use this server to say I won't do that again because when your server unexpectedly becomes massive for no reason who would want to take it down. 

    Moral of the story?: idfk minehut players are weird lmao

    HOWEVER: I do see this server as a joke and it will not be up by tomorrow lol
