[Does minehut charge credits while the server is offline??]

So i only have 500 credits left and i want to conserve them for my server. I was wondering if Minehut uses credits while the server is offline? If not, could we add it that when a server is using a plan that costs credits and its offline, it doesn't charge credits. Thanks
